Becoming a REVMA Member

Why Join Redwood Empire Veterinary Association?

excellent continuing education

Each month we offer our members an opportunity to join us and learn valuable and current information at our meetings. DINNER MEETINGS ARE FREE TO MEMBERS. REVMA also hosts an all day 6 CE unit symposium each Fall. Visit our Events page for dates and details. If you are not a member and are interesting in attending a meeting, please email us or fill out the form on our contact page.

camaraderie

Whether or not you own your own practice or work at a larger hospital, being a member of a community of those who serve animals and their owners is invaluable. Our members understand the specific challenges we face in Sonoma County, such as our recovery from the wildfires of 2017. We can bounce ideas off of each other and share resources as we continue to share from the collective wisdom of REVMA. As we enrich our own personal experiences, we also grow as a group in serving our community.

community service

Redwood Empire Veterinary Association is proud to have given back to many worthy organizations through our Charitable Grants. As we move forward as a community, we will continue to live up to our legacy and provide funding and resources to such organizations in the future.

peer review committee

REVMA offers our members peer review to aid in any client complaints they might receive. Our members rarely receive such complaints, but when they do, it’s extremely valuable to have a free resource to help them avoid costly and time consuming litigation.

newsletters

Our bi-monthly newsletters are sent to our members. As a member you can place classified ads in these newsletters for free. Large ads are available at a reasonable cost. You can also show off your expertise and share your wisdom by writing an article to be featured in our newsletters.
